An airport taxi that is already waiting before you land. The price is agreed before the journey, not revealed at the end on a taximeter.
You pre-book your Vienna airport taxi and receive a fixed price for the route between your address and Vienna International Airport in Schwechat. We hold a taxi licence but drive without a meter: traffic, detours and up to one hour of waiting at the airport do not change the price. Child seats are free, and you can book around the clock.

With a fixed price you know the final amount before you get in. With a classic metered taxi the total is only known when the journey is over – it depends on route, traffic and waiting time.
We are a licensed company with a taxi licence, yet we do not charge by the clock. Your airport transfer therefore costs the same in rush hour as it does at midnight on an empty motorway. We quote the amount for your address as a fixed price on request.
Is a fixed price more expensive than a metered taxi? To be honest: on a completely clear run, the meter may come out similar or slightly lower. As soon as the A4 is congested, you are travelling with children or your flight lands late, the price agreed in advance is usually the safer bill.
At the rank outside the terminal you take the next free car, and app prices for ride-hailing change with demand. If you pre-book, you have a reserved vehicle, a fixed price and a chauffeur waiting in the arrivals hall.
These points speak for pre-booking:
Vienna airport is in Schwechat, around 20 to 30 minutes’ drive from the city centre. Our airport taxi covers the route in both directions: from the terminal to your hotel or home, or from your hotel to your departure.
Our office is in Favoriten, the 10th district. For a taxi from the 10th district to the airport you receive a fixed price on request, just as for any other address – with no approach fee that appears later.
If you are continuing by train, we take you directly to Vienna Central Station or Westbahnhof. A comparison with the S-Bahn, bus and train is in our guide Vienna airport to city centre.
A child seat costs nothing extra with us. When you pre-book, give us the age or weight of your children, and the right seat – infant carrier, child seat or booster – will be fitted when we collect you.
Families with two or three children and luggage for a fortnight travel most comfortably in the Business Van. The Mercedes V-Class has room for up to 7 passengers and 6 suitcases. For large families or groups, our minibus with driver is the better fit.
Pickup address or flight number, date, time, passengers and suitcases – via the form, by phone or on WhatsApp.
You receive the price and vehicle class by email. Free cancellation up to two hours before pickup.
Your chauffeur is at your door at the agreed time or waits for you in the arrivals hall.
No meter running – you pay the agreed amount in cash, by card or by bank transfer.
Always compare the total price for an airport taxi, not a teaser rate. Ask whether luggage, child seats, waiting time and night journeys are included – with us, they are.
A reputable provider states its company name, address and licence openly. Vienna Chauffeur Service is Muhammet Alkac KG, Inzersdorfer Strasse 97/6-7, 1100 Vienna, a member of the Chamber of Commerce. The rules for the taxi and hire-car trade are described by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO).

You receive a fixed price on request, depending on destination address, time of day and vehicle class. The amount is set before the journey and does not change in traffic. Luggage, child seats and up to one hour of waiting at the airport are included.
That depends on the journey. On an empty motorway a meter may show a similar or slightly lower amount, but it rises with congestion, diversions or waiting time. The fixed price protects you from these swings and from surprises at the end of the ride.
Yes, Vienna Chauffeur Service is a licensed company with a taxi licence. We deliberately drive without a meter and agree every price in advance. Our registered office is at Inzersdorfer Strasse 97/6-7 in 1100 Vienna.
When you send your request, tell us how many children are travelling and their age or weight. The child seat or baby seat is free and is fitted before pickup. This works for journeys to the airport just as it does for collection after landing.
Ideally one day before, and earlier for early departures or groups. Short-notice bookings are often still possible because we operate 24/7. In that case call us directly and you will know straight away whether a car is free.
There is no general answer, because app prices vary with demand and time, and a metered taxi depends on traffic. Our airport transfer price is fixed when you book and includes waiting time, luggage and child seats. For families, heavy luggage and early flights it is usually the most predictable option.
No, we charge no extra fees for flight delays. In addition, one hour of waiting at the airport is free, so you can collect your luggage and clear passport control without pressure. Please include your flight number when booking.
Yes, credit card, bank transfer and cash are all possible. Companies receive an invoice in the company name on request. We agree the payment method when you pre-book, so everything goes quickly after landing.
Yes, we collect not only at the airport but also in the town of Schwechat and neighbouring communities. The price is agreed in advance as a fixed price. Just give us the exact pickup address.
Yes, you can book for family, guests or colleagues. We need the passenger’s name, the flight number or pickup address and the destination. We send the confirmation to you and, on request, to the passenger.
Yes, if you mention it when booking. Skis, golf bags, pushchairs or instruments need space, so we usually choose the van. That way everything fits safely without losing seats.
Because passengers want to know the price in advance. With a fixed price, we carry the risk of traffic and detours, not you. The licence ensures we are legally authorised to carry passengers commercially.
Yes, pickups at Vienna Central Station, Westbahnhof or other stations are possible. Up to one hour of waiting is free there as well. Give us your train number and scheduled arrival time.
Yes, every journey is invoiced properly. Companies receive an invoice with the company address, on request as a summary for several journeys. That makes expense claims easier, especially for frequent flyers.
A hire car with chauffeur is booked in advance and charged at a fixed price or by the hour, while a taxi is usually hailed spontaneously and runs on the meter. With us you also get a well-kept vehicle of your chosen class and a fixed point of contact. For planned journeys the chauffeured car is the better match.
A short stop is possible if you mention it when booking, and we include it in the fixed price. For several appointments in a row, an hourly booking from €50 per hour including 20 km per hour, with a 2-hour minimum, is often more sensible.
That depends on the vehicle class. The saloon takes 3 passengers with 2 suitcases, the van up to 7 passengers with 6 suitcases and the Sprinter 9 to 21 people. For 8 people we recommend the Sprinter.
For a pickup after landing, the chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall, not at the general taxi rank. That way you avoid the queue. You can read more in our guide to the Vienna airport meeting point.
Yes, cancellation is free up to two hours before the agreed pickup. If only the time changes, we simply amend the booking. Contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
All vehicles are no more than 36 months old, with Wi-Fi and water on board. The fleet includes the Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series, Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series, Mercedes V-Class and Mercedes Sprinter, or similar.
Yes, our chauffeurs are multilingual. English and German are standard, and we accommodate other languages where possible. Tell us when booking which language your guests speak, especially if it is their first time landing in Vienna.
Yes, both journeys are then confirmed at a fixed price. If your return flight changes, send us the new flight number and we will adjust the pickup. Your trip is organised from start to finish.
Yes, with the Mercedes Sprinter for 9 to 21 people. For clubs, wedding guests or company groups this is often cheaper than several separate taxis. We clarify luggage in advance so there is enough room in the hold.
There is no hidden night surcharge. The fixed price you receive when booking applies to the agreed time, however late it is. You therefore know in advance what a night journey costs.
It means the vehicle carries only you and your party, with no stops for other passengers. You travel directly from the terminal to your address at a fixed price. Shared shuttle buses, by contrast, stop at several hotels along the way.
Yes, cross-border journeys are also available at a fixed price, for example to Bratislava city or Bratislava airport. We quote the amount on request. The journey can take place at any time of day or night.
Yes, you choose the vehicle class: Business, First Class, Van or Minibus. The exact model may be a comparable vehicle depending on availability. The class also determines the fixed price.
Often within a few hours, depending on availability. The quickest way is by phone on +43 699 172 32 607. We can be reached around the clock and will tell you immediately whether the journey is possible.
Please check with us before booking. We confirm whether the carrier fits well in the chosen vehicle and suggest the van if needed. Assistance dogs are of course always welcome.
Yes, Wi-Fi and water are on board every vehicle. You can read emails during the journey or let people know you have landed. The vehicles are no more than 36 months old.
You will receive your fixed price by email – usually within a few minutes.
