With Vienna Chauffeur Service, the meeting point at Vienna airport is the public arrivals hall – the area you enter after baggage reclaim and customs. Your chauffeur waits for you there. Up to one hour of waiting is free, and there are no extra charges if your flight is delayed. If you cannot see the driver straight away, stay in the hall and call us on +43 699 172 32 607 – around the clock.

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall – not at the taxi rank and not in the car park. The arrivals hall is the public area you reach after collecting your luggage and passing through the exit; everyone else meeting arriving passengers waits there too.
When you book, the chauffeur knows your name, flight number and destination. So you do not have to search for him while pushing a luggage trolley: stop for a moment once you are through the exit and look around.
The chauffeur takes care of the walk to the vehicle. He knows where the car is parked and leads you straight to it.
Switch your phone on. If anything important has happened, we may already have contacted you.
Depending on where you fly from, you go through passport control, then to baggage reclaim and through customs.
After the exit you enter the arrivals hall. Your chauffeur is waiting for you there with a name sign.
The chauffeur walks with you to the car, your luggage goes into the boot, and the journey begins.
A delayed flight costs you nothing extra with us. We charge no additional fees if your plane lands late, and up to one hour of waiting after landing is free at the airport.
This hour is deliberately generous. In most cases it covers passport control, baggage reclaim and the walk to the arrivals hall – even if a suitcase takes a little longer to appear.
If it takes considerably longer, for example because a bag is missing and you need to file a report, please contact us by phone or WhatsApp. We let the chauffeur know and agree the next steps with you. You can see when your flight actually lands on the Vienna Airport arrivals board.
Stay calm in the arrivals hall and call us. In almost every case the problem is solved within a few minutes.
If you are travelling with children, the child seat is already fitted in the vehicle when you are collected – free of charge, provided you gave their age or weight when booking.
Lots of luggage needs the right vehicle: the saloon takes 3 passengers with 2 suitcases, the van up to 7 passengers with 6 suitcases. We collect groups of 9 to 21 people in the Sprinter, and they also meet the chauffeur in the arrivals hall.
A pickup for business guests in an S-Class is described on our Vienna airport limousine service page; groups will find more on our van with driver page.
A smooth pickup starts with the booking. Give us your flight number, scheduled arrival time, number of passengers and suitcases, and your phone number including the country code.
Save our number in your phone before you fly. If you are booking for someone else, please tell us who is travelling – we can then send the confirmation directly to your guest on request.
We explain the transfer itself and the fixed price on our Vienna airport transfer page. Which other ways there are from the airport into town is shown in our guide Vienna airport to city centre.

Up to one hour of waiting after landing is free at the airport. That is normally enough for passport control, luggage and the walk to the arrivals hall. If it takes longer, please let us know briefly.
No, we charge no extra fees for flight delays. What matters is that you give us the correct flight number when booking. That way the chauffeur knows which flight to expect.
No, that is not necessary if everything goes to plan. The chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall. A call only makes sense if you are significantly delayed, for example because of missing luggage, or if you cannot find the driver.
Report the loss at the baggage desk in the arrivals area and let us know briefly. The chauffeur then knows it will take longer. We agree the next steps together with you.
As soon as you have an internet connection, you can reach us on WhatsApp or by email at office@vienna-chauffeur-service.com. In the meantime, stay in the arrivals hall, because that is where the chauffeur looks for you. Calling +43 699 172 32 607 is the fastest way.
You give us the guest’s name, flight number and destination. The chauffeur welcomes your guest in the arrivals hall and takes them to their destination. We send the confirmation to you and, on request, directly to your guest.
No, the meeting point is always the arrivals hall, not the taxi rank outside the building. That way you do not have to queue with your luggage. The chauffeur leads you directly to his vehicle.
No, you can pay by credit card, bank transfer or cash. We agree the payment method when you book. Many guests pay in advance by bank transfer and do not need to think about anything at pickup.
The chauffeur plans his journey so that he is there at landing time. If your flight lands earlier or later, he adapts. For you this means: once you are through the exit, he is there.
Yes, child seats are free and fitted in advance. We plan space in the boot for the pushchair. Mention both when booking, and if needed we will send the van with more luggage space straight away.
Groups also meet the chauffeur in the arrivals hall. For groups it helps to name one contact person with a phone number. That way we can coordinate until everyone has their luggage.
Yes, you receive a confirmation by email with date, time, vehicle class and price. Keep it to hand on arrival, ideally saved offline too. It also contains our contact details in case you do not see the driver straight away.
We operate in difficult conditions too, as long as the roads are passable. If your flight changes, send us the new details. There are no extra charges for flight delays.
For the transfer from the airport to your address you receive a fixed price on request. Up to one hour of waiting, luggage and child seats are included. No meter runs, so the price stays the same even in traffic.
The chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall and knows your name and flight number. If you are unsure, give us a quick call and we will connect you. Do not go with people who approach you unprompted.
Whichever gate you arrive at, the meeting point is the public arrivals hall you reach after baggage reclaim and customs – just follow the exit signs. That is where everyone arrives, so it is the best place to meet. If you have a special request, mention it when booking and we will check whether it is possible.
Stay in the arrivals hall; the chauffeur waits there and will look for you. Write our number down on paper beforehand, just in case. With your flight number, the chauffeur knows when you arrive anyway.
Two suitcases in the saloon, six in the van and on request in the Sprinter. Tell us the number of bags so we send the right vehicle. Please mention bulky items such as skis separately.
Our chauffeurs are multilingual, and English and German are standard. If you would like another language, mention it when booking. We take it into account where possible, so the welcome in the arrivals hall is easy.
Yes, if you mention the stop when booking, for example to withdraw cash or pick up a second person. We include it in the fixed price. For several appointments, an hourly booking from €50 per hour is more practical.

On flights from other Schengen countries there is usually no regular passport control. On flights from outside the Schengen area it is added and can take a while depending on queues. Our free waiting time of one hour takes this into account.
