In short

What are long-distance transfers from Vienna with a chauffeur?

Long-distance transfers from Vienna are private journeys to destinations outside the city, all over Austria and into neighbouring countries, such as a Vienna to Munich private car. You travel door to door, without changes, with your luggage and, if you wish, with stops. For every route you receive a fixed price per vehicle on request, with no meter, bookable around the clock.

How it works

Long-distance chauffeur from Vienna: a fixed price instead of a meter

On a long-distance transfer you know the price before you get in. We calculate the fixed price per vehicle from the route, vehicle class and any stops, and exactly that amount is charged. Traffic jams, diversions or a longer border check do not change it.

The price applies per vehicle, not per person. For families and groups a long-distance transfer is therefore often better value than it first appears. Your chauffeur collects you at any address in Vienna or at Vienna Airport, loads the luggage and takes you directly to your destination address.

For journeys with many stops close by, such as a shopping day or appointments in the surrounding area, a chauffeur by the hour can work out cheaper: from €50 per hour including 20 km per hour, with a 2-hour minimum. When you send your request, we tell you which model suits you better.

How a long-distance transfer with a chauffeur works

On long routes, comfort and breaks matter. Our vehicles are no more than 36 months old, Wi-Fi and water are on board, and short breaks at a service area are possible at any time. Child seats are provided free of charge.

For journeys abroad please carry a valid passport or national ID card; border checks are possible even within the Schengen Area. Several neighbouring countries require a vignette or toll on motorways; in Austria, information is provided by ASFINAG. For you as a passenger nothing changes: the agreed fixed price applies.

From Vienna Airport the same rules apply as for our Vienna airport transfer: if your flight is delayed, there are no extra charges, and up to one hour of waiting time is free.

Comparison

Train, bus or private car for long distances?

For one person with little luggage, trains and long-distance buses are usually cheaper on the main routes, and the rail network from Vienna is good. A private transfer makes sense when other factors count.

These include several travellers, lots of luggage, children, a departure from the airport or at times without connections, destinations away from the stations and stops along the way. Business travellers who want to work in the vehicle also often prefer a chauffeur. For groups of nine or more there is the minibus with driver.
